Slugs

These whip shaped baits have unique qualities for our West Coast style of fishing with its its long, slender body that gives the profile of a larger baitfish without the coefficient drag of another bait of the same size. The other highlight of this bait is it is an excellent “deadstick” bait, meaning you don’t need to impart much action as the current and swell is really all that is needed. There are several ways this bait can be rigged, on a jighead (bullet or swimbait} or our Salt Shot rig works very well. Whatever method is used this bait really shines for West Coast saltwater species.
